FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions:

I forgot My Email Password!

  • Fastest Way – Use Online Support Chat (It’s on Right Side on most every page now)
  • Online Chat is monitored 24/7 by a team of Support Folks
  • Please Note: We No Longer Provide Voice Support.

*Note:  If you’re getting Brute Force Lockout messages when attempting to Login.  Stop your attempts for about 30 Minutes.  Otherwise, even correct passwords will restart the clock on lockout!  (This problem is further complicated when you have multiple users on a network all coming to our service, if this is you, please give us a static IP so we can put it in our whitelist)


I forgot my billing / ticket system password

 

  • The Billing System provides it’s own password reset mechanism.
  • It will email you a link to reset your password
  • It will utilize the email you provided at time of service
  • This Username/Password is not related to your Email Username and Password!

  • NOTE:  WHEN PROMPTED FOR Email Address on Web Login PLEASE use your UserID which is: your email address with a plus sign instead of an @ sign.  (This is the same for setting up email clients).  Example joesmoe+i-is.com if my email was joesmoe@i-is.com.

FTP Problems

  • Since our migration, our server now requires either Passive FTP Mode to be enabled with FTP Protocol or better yet make the switch to SFTP  (note: not FTPS)
  • SFTP will encrypt the session preventing someone from easily obtaining your username and password (which is sent in clear text when using standard FTP)
  • We will eventually require SFTP going forward so now is the time to get familiar with it!
  • Here’s a Great Open Source FTP Client Called FileZilla

All Points Media Works, LLC provides 24/7 support via our web ticket system and chat.   Responses will come via email will be tracked.

Please note, All Points Media Works no longer provides telephone support.  We’ve found our customers get much faster response via our online support systems, including our online ticket system (which can be used even if you’re having email problems).  Our online support email, and of course online chat.  All of these systems are 24/7.  Furthermore the customer portal is designed as a self help tool for many of the most common requests.
